May 2008, I took a vacation to visit Jamaica and Barbados, from Grand Cayman. It was least expensive for me to fly to Barbados from Jamaica than it was from anywhere else. I decided to take advantage and visit a friend I met in Grand Cayman who also worked at Paperman’s for a short while. On this trip I visited Jamaica twice, a little bit before Barbados and a bit after. Gentleman in the photos is a family friend and was my tour guide for the day.
Notice the carvings on this tree trunk. In many places you can purchase tree carvings from locals as a token of your time on this gorgeous island.
