Dutch Apple Pie…

I learned how to make this pie while pregnant and working part time at an apple orchard in Ipswich, Massachusetts. I was 19 years old. I would drive to the farm and stay there for the weekend and then drive back home to Rhode Island. I had come down with toxemia during the later months of my pregancy and told not to work. This kept me from going stir crazy. I have baked many of these pies over the years, especially over the holidays when I owned Simply Delicious. My daughter still asks me for the recipe every year come October. I hope you enjoy this pie as much as everyone else does.
